Had a really good day today. Started with a trip into work and did 2 1/2 hours of the WIP plus a bit of planning and organisation for The Future. Felt very stiff and sore by the end of it, but pleased with progress.

Fortunately for the purposes of NaNoWriMo I was struck by inspiration and did my writing session this morning, before breakfast. Before, indeed, checking my e-mail or opening the first web browser for the day. Not so much struck by inspiration as dragged by it to the laptop.

Made a different kind of progress on The Book today, of the organisational variety. The wordcount possibly came out slightly ahead, but only because I added several heading topics for purely organisational purposes, and they will be removed in due course. About an hour ago I settled in to write a brief confession post that--despite my declaration of just yesterday that I would endeavour to make some kind of progress on The Book every day--I had failed to make any kind of progress on The Book today.

In theory Nanowrimo should be a relatively easy prospect for me this year, as I have easily 50K or more words planned out and ready to go into The Book.
